Volunteers Needed
The Sierra Club is unique among environmental organizations: our membership not only gives us financial support, but entirely directs the activities and goals of the Club. Our success is built upon our volunteer leaders--passionate, courageous, and generous people who donate their time, resources, and expertise to help protect their communities and their planet. There are tons of ways you can become an environmental leader. Come to one of our meetings or contact us for more information how. We welcome and appreciate all levels of engagement, from helping others to plan an event, to proposing your very own Issue or Campaign Committee. Become a Leader--you won't regret it!
Program and Event Chair
The Acadian Group is looking for a volunteer to help plan, organize, and promote meetings and other events such as lectures and presentations, forums, films, social events, and tabling.
Newsletter Contributions
The Acadian Group of the Sierra Club publishes the Acadian Sierran Newsletter quarterly.
